#PC18 - Police Conference

Police Commissioners of Australia and New Zealand and the Chief Police Officer of the Australian Capital Territory are delighted to present the invitation only inaugural Police Conference: Innovative Policing: Anticipating Future Challenges. The Police Conference will be held in Melbourne over two days, on the 2-3 May 2018.

The conference has a future focus and aims to anticipate new challenges in policing. Themes will explore opportunity and capability innovations, emerging technological changes and how a disruptive and changing society will influence policing.

The Australia and New Zealand Policing Advisory Agency (ANZPAA), on behalf of the Police Commissioners of Australia and New Zealand and in parallel with CIVSEC 2018, are hosting this inaugural policing conference.

ANZPAA is a joint venture of the Australian and New Zealand Police Commissioners. The board of ANZPAA comprises the commissioners of the Australian Federal Police, ACT Policing, NSW Police Force, New Zealand Police, Northern Territory Police, Queensland Police Service, South Australia Police, Tasmania Police, Victoria Police and the Western Australia Police Force.

The Australia New Zealand Policing Advisory Agency (ANZPAA) is the agency that serves Police Commissioners in Australia and New Zealand. ANZPAA proactively partners with agencies and identifies opportunities for improved performance that result in better community safety outcomes for Australia and New Zealand.
