CIVSEC 2020 will be the third iteration of this international forum highlighting strategy, tactics, technologies and products for the preservation of sovereignty, the protection of people and the safety of communities.

CIVSEC is both a comprehensive exposition of technology and industry capability and a uniquely-blended congress of conferences and symposia, spanning the spectrum of issues relating to civil and national security, policing, emergency management and disaster relief and showcasing the latest in related technology, equipment, products and services.

While focusing on the Indo-Asia-Pacific region, CIVSEC 2020 will address issues of global significance and threats across the major fields of:

  • National Security
  • Community Safety and Security
  • Borders, Air and Seaports
  • Critical Infrastructure
  • Natural Disasters – Preparation, Response, Relief and Recovery

It will include major law enforcement and security agency involvement, including:

  • Australia New Zealand Police Advisory Agency (ANZPAA) PC20 Police Commissioners Conference;
  • National Security Science and Technology Centre (an arm of Defence Science and Technology);
  • Corrective Services Administrators Council (CSAC) Commissioners Meeting;
  • Corrective Services Emerging Technology Group Working Group Meeting;
  • Australian Association for Unmanned Systems.

The CIVSEC 2020 exposition will enable key agencies to network with manufacturers, equipment suppliers, technology developers and service providers.

Presented by the not-for-profit Industry Defence and Security Australia Limited, CIVSEC 2020 is free to attend for registered accredited professional visitors who have a professional, business, scientific or academic interest in the topics being covered. Its pro-bono mission is the dissemination of knowledge in the national interest.
